Adding or updating Engineering AI Hub administrators

Add, modify, or remove administrator users who can configure and manage agents and license settings for AI Hub.

About this task

Important: Administrator users have full access to all Engineering AI Hub configuration and management functions. Grant administrator privileges only to trusted users who require this level of access.

Procedure

  1. From the AI Hub administration home page, click Manage administrators in the navigation menu.
    The Admin Management page displays a list of current administrator users.
  2. Click Add admin.
    The Add administrators dialog opens.
  3. Enter the Jazz ID of the user that you want to add.
  4. Press Enter or click anywhere outside the field to add the ID as a tag.
  5. Add additional Jazz IDs if needed. Each ID appears as a removable tag.
  6. Click Add.
  7. To remove an administrator, locate the user in the table and select the Delete icon in the Actions column. A confirmation dialog opens.
  8. Review the user ID in the dialog and select Delete to revoke access. The user’s administrative access is removed immediately.
    Note:

    If the administrator is a default administrator, the delete option is disabled and a tooltip explains that default administrators cannot be removed through the UI. To remove a default administrator, update the system configuration outside the Admin UI.

Results

The new administrator user can now log in to the AI Hub administration interface at https://hostname:port/aihub/admin with the assigned permissions. The user appears in the administrator list on the Admin Management page.
