Getting started with IBM Cloud applications is straightforward, once you purchase a
subscription from your sales contact.
About this task
After you purchase a subscription to the IBM Cloud application, you receive a confirmation email,
with instructions on how to connect to your application on IBM Cloud.
Procedure

In a browser, type the secure URL that you receive when you subscribe to your IBM Cloud
application such as this:
https://clmsaas.clm.ibmcloud.com/pwm
Important: If you need to bookmark the PWM site, ensure that your bookmark is only for
the base URL. If your site is called ibmtest.clm.ibmcloud.com then your bookmark
should only contain ibmtest.clm.ibmcloud.com/pwm. You may need to edit your
bookmark to ensure this is the case.

Sign in with the username and password that you were supplied in your subscription email, and,
once logged on, you can create teams and project areas, and begin managing your projects from one
secure site. For information about your cloud product, see: Product Information.
You have five attempts to enter your password before the system locks you out. If you have
forgotten your password, click Forgotten Password. Type your username and
click Search; type your email address, and click Check
Answers. You receive a code in your email, and type this code in the
Code field. In the New password field, type a new
password.
Important: Do not save passwords for PWM through browsers or browser extensions for this
can cause issues. If you run into problems with PWM returning you to the login screen when it should
not, you may want to delete any saved passwords and type manually.

Change Password: Click Change Password and type a password in the
New Password field, and retype the password in the Confirm
Password field.
Passwords:
- are case sensitive.
- must be at least 8 characters long
- must contain 1 lower-case letter
- must contain 1 upper-case letter
If your password does not meet the requirements, you are immediately informed in a dialogue
box:

Update Profile: Click Update Profile to update your contact
information.

My account: Click My Account to view the details of your account,
including your username, email address, network address, network host:

These user administration tasks can be done only by a user with JazzAdmin privileges:

User Registration: This page allows you to add a new user, and add this new user to a
user group or several user groups:

The new user receives a confirmation email with a link to create a password.

Administration: View user activity, and page health and other advanced administration
information.
