Additional Requirements
Emptoris Contract Management requires the following software in your setup.
- Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Word 2010, or Microsoft Word 2013: Emptoris Contract Management uses Microsoft Word to edit the language for the clause templates and the contracts.
- Contract Authoring Tool: You must download and install the Contract Authoring Tool after logging into Emptoris Contract Management. This tool is required to edit contracts and clause templates in Microsoft Word.
Using Emptoris Contract Management on Mac OS
If you are using the Emptoris Contract Management application on Apple Mac OS operating system, you cannot edit the contract in an online mode by using Microsoft Word. To edit the contract language, you must check out the contract, open it in Word, edit the language and check in the changes. Hence, you need not install the Contract Authoring tool.
