Structural Changes
Structural changes to clauses, section breaks, and bookmarks are captured when an edited offline contract is checked in.
Actions taken
The following actions are considered as structural changes when an offline contract is checked in:
- Clause title bookmarks are recovered and placed at the beginning of the clause.
- Clauses or contract delimiter bookmarks when moved or removed are identified under structural changes. Examples of delimiter bookmarks are TITLE_, CLAUSE_, and CTS_.
- If a clause cannot be recovered based on demarcations, an empty section with clause demarcations is added to retain the contract's data integrity. During this recovery process, term bookmarks that were moved to another clause are deleted.
- Deleted section breaks, deleted clause range bookmarks and deleted clause title bookmarks are included in structural changes list. After the deletion, if the changes are not accepted, they are not included in the structural changes.
