Bookmarks in Contract Language
Bookmarks are used to mark terms, contract ranges, and clause titles. The language components are demarcated by bookmarks even when they have no value.

The Combine Title and Body Option
The Combine Title and Body option removes the paragraph between the clause title and the clause body in the contract language. The clause title and body appear in the same line. The style for the clause title is applied to the first paragraph of the clause language.

Paragraph Line Spacing
The paragraph line spacing in the Word documents is based on the Normal style in Word.

Applying the Header and Footer of a Clause to a Contract
The default header and footer from the format template is applied to the first page of a contract. However, you can change the default header and footer to the header and footer of a clause in the contract.

Formatting Hyperlinks
You must open hyperlinks from the Word Editor instead of the Contract Editor. You can format hyperlinks to be opened in new windows.

Testing Clause and Contract Templates
You can test the clause and contract templates to verify that the style, formatting, and header and footer are displayed appropriately in the templates. You can also verify that the terms, clauses, and clause alternates are defined correctly.
