Exporting JDBC connection to JDBC Gateway server

Using the JDBC Gateway administrative console, you can export repositories and JDBC library settings to the JDBC Gateway server’s custom folder. The repositories and JDBC library settings are exported as a settings.zip file.

Before you begin

The JDBC Gateway must be installed. See Installing JDBC Gateway .

Ensure that the user has permission to the JDBC Gateway administrative console.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to export the repositories and JDBC library settings to the JDBC Gateway server’s custom folder:

  1. In the JDBC Gateway administrative console, select File > Export.
  2. Select Repositories and JDBC library settings file to server from the list of available export options and click Next. The Export Repositories and JDBC library settings file to server page displays.
  3. On the Export Repositories and JDBC library settings to server page, enter the following details:
    1. File path (on server): Specify the server's file path to save the output file. By default, the console displays the server's home path. Ensure that the file path has the required permissions.
    2. Repositories: The Repositories list box lists all the defined repositories. Select the check box for each repository you want to include in the output file.
    3. JDBC libraries: All the JDBC driver libraries that you have defined are listed in the JDBC libraries list box. Select the check box for each JDBC driver library you want to include in the output file.
    4. Driver files: Select the driver files that you want to export.
  4. Optional: To export the JAR files associated with the selected JDBC drivers, select the Export JAR files check box.
  5. Click Finish to download the settings.zip file to the specified JDBC Gateway server path.
