Exporting data sources to JDBC Gateway server

Using the JDBC Gateway administrative console, you can export personal data sources to the JDBC Gateway server’s custom folder. The personal data sources are exported as a .wso file.

Before you begin

The JDBC Gateway must be installed. See Installing JDBC Gateway .

Ensure that the user has permission to the JDBC Gateway administrative console.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to export personal data sources to the JDBC Gateway server’s custom folder:

  1. In the JDBC Gateway administrative console, select File > Export.
  2. Select Personal data sources from the list of available export options and click Next. The Export Personal Data Sources page displays.
  3. On the Export Personal Data Sources page, enter the following details:
    1. File path (on server): Specify the server's file path to save the output file. By default, the console displays the server's home path. Ensure that the file path has the required permissions.
    2. File Name (*.wso): Specify the name of the output file. By default, the file name is ds.wso. Special characters are not allowed in the .wso file name.
    3. Data Sources: All the defined rational data sources are listed in the Data Sources list box. Select the check box for each rational data source you want to include in the output file.
  4. Click Finish to download the wso file to the specified JDBC Gateway server path.
