Frame lighting

A standout feature of the IBM Diamondback tape library is its intelligent frame lighting system.

This system uses strategically placed frame lights and LEDs to convey real-time status information. In environments like dark data centers with multiple libraries, onsite administrators can quickly identify the operational state of each unit—whether it's in normal operation, inventorying media, updating, or initializing.
