Configuring ports and system I/O

You can configure the DS8000® ports to connect to hosts or other storage systems and configure adapters to receive host system I/O.

Configuring I/O port protocols
Configure the protocol or topology for the I/O ports (also referred to as Fibre Channel ports) that connect the DS8000 storage system to hosts or other storage systems.
Enabling host system I/O
After you configure your storage system, configure the host system to send I/O to the DS8000.
