This MAP is used to troubleshoot problems with the management console.

About this task

At this code level, management console problems are not isolated to the component level. The entire management console is a FRU.

Procedure

  1. Use the following table to find the condition of your management console. Take the appropriate action.
    Management console condition Recovery action
    The power LED is not lit on the management console Go to MAP6520 Management Console power problem
    The Power LED is flashing on the management console The BMC is at standby. Wait for the LED to be solid green. If it stays flashing, go to MAP6520 Management Console power problem
    Nothing is displayed on the management console's monitor Go to MAP6540 Keyboard/display problem
  2. If none of the conditions above solve the problem, replace the management console. Go to Exchange the management console.
