A warmstart or quickstart of an LPAR has occurred. The next level of support may need one
or more dumps off-loaded to analyze the cause. If more than one warmstart has occurred for this
LPAR, they will all be reported by the same serviceable event.
Procedure
- Contact your next level of support to determine if they want you to offload and send any
dump files.
- Offload files associated with this serviceable event.
From the legacy service interface:
- From the navigation area, click Service
Management.
- In the right work area, click Manage Serviceable
Events. A window opens and displays a list of selection criteria.
- You can use the default criteria or modify the criteria for your needs. Click
OK. The Serviceable Event Overview window opens.
- Select the Problem number for the serviceable event that sent you here. From the
Selected drop-down list, click Manage Problem
Data.
A window opens and displays the files available for offload.
- Select one or more files as directed by the next level of support. You can use the
Shift key to select multiple files.
- Select the offload method as directed by the next level of support.
From the storage management GUI:

Click Service > Replace/Service Hardware > Manage Serviceable
Events.
A window opens and display a list of serviceable events.
- Select the serviceable event that sent you here. Click View
Details, then click Manage Data. A window opens and displays the
files available for offload.
- Select one or more files as directed by the next level of support. You can use the
Shift key to select multiple files.
- Select the offload method as directed by the next level of support.
