TCTLR
TCTLR is a long reach (also known as longwave, LW) SFP (small form factor pluggable). The SFP is installed in an Ethernet adapter used for transparent cloud tiering (TCT).
About this task
The part number cannot be determined from VPD by the reporting system (FSP or LPAR). Refer to the parts catalog for the part number of the SFP.
Note: When the associated Ethernet adapter is replaced, all SFPs are ordered
and replaced with the adapter.
The FRU location code of the SFP is in the format
Un-P1-Cx-Ty, where:
- Un: CEC enclosure system unit
- P1: system backplane
- Cx: Ethernet adapter location
- Ty: port location of the SFP
