Checking for entitlement registration

Call-home processing of serviceable events depends on entitlement registration of each storage facility.

For multi-rack systems, each rack in the storage facility must be registered.

This function is tested later in this installation procedure. The test will fail if entitlement registration is not completed. Refer to Testing management console communications.

In most countries, registration is completed by an automated process. For other countries, manual registration is needed. The registration method varies by geography and country. If specific guidance is needed, contact your next level of support.
