DS8000 Storage Management GUI contextual help

The contextual help pages describe the resources and actions that are available in the DS8000 Storage Management GUI.

Dashboard
The Dashboard page displays the major hardware components of the DS8000 storage system and shows the status of the system hardware, capacity, and performance.
Monitoring
Use the Monitoring options to view details about the DS8000 storage system, including events and performance.
Pools
Use the Pools options to view details about arrays and volumes in pools.
Volumes
Use the Volumes options to view details about volumes, including volumes in hosts, pools, and logical subsystems (LSS).
Hosts
Use the Hosts options to view details about hosts, including volumes in hosts.
Copy Services
Use the Copy Services options to view details about Copy Services processes.
Access
Use the Access options to define users, assign roles to users, and add permissions to roles.
Settings
Use the Settings options to view details about settings for the DS8000, including preferences for the network, security, system, support, notifications, and GUI,
DS CLI
Use the DS CLI window to enter DS CLI commands from the DS8000 Storage Management GUI. You can use the window to type DS CLI commands or select a script that contains commands.
