Monitoring Fibre Channel ports

You can use the Logged in WWPNs for I/O port window to view details about connections that are logged in to a Fibre Channel port.

About this task

The connection details in the Logged in WWPNs for I/O port window include the worldwide port name (WWPN), worldwide node, name (WWNN), and host information.

Procedure

Open the Logged in WWPNs for I/O port window by using one of the following options in the DS8000® Storage Management GUI:

Right-click a port on the Fibre Channel Ports tab of the Network Settings page (Settings > Network > Fibre Channel Ports) and click Logged in WWPNs.
Right-click the illustration of a Fibre Channel port in the Hardware View of the Dashboard page and click Logged in WWPNs.
