Monitoring Fibre Channel port errors

You can monitor errors that occur on the Fibre Channel ports (also referred to as I/O ports) that connect your DS8000 storage system to host systems or other storage systems.

About this task

You can view the frequency of Fibre Channel port errors that occurred within a 24-hour period.

Procedure

To view the error rates for a Fibre Channel port, select the Error Rates action on the Fibre Channel Ports tab of the Network settings page (Settings > Network > Fibre Channel Ports) in the DS8000 Storage Management GUI.
