Selecting the power control mode

Use the DS8000 Storage Management GUI to determine how you control the power supply to the storage system.

Procedure

Select the Advanced tab on the System settings page.

  • To control the power supply from the external power switch, click Automatic.
  • To control the power supply from the Power Off action on the System page, click Manual.
