Configuring I/O port protocols

Configure the protocol or topology for the I/O ports (also referred to as Fibre Channel ports) that connect the DS8000 storage system to hosts or other storage systems.

Procedure

Change the protocol or topology for an I/O port on the storage system by selecting either the Modify Protocol action on the Network settings page or the Modify I/O Port Protocols action on the System page of the DS8000 Storage Management GUI.
