Management console

The management console supports storage system hardware and firmware installation and maintenance activities.

The management console is a dedicated processor unit that is located inside your storage system. The management console can automatically monitor the state of your system, and notify you and IBM® when service is needed.

To provide continuous availability two management consoles are provided. The on site interface to the management console is a 1U keyboard and display. (feature code AAK0).
