showsu
The showsu command displays detailed properties of an individual storage system.
Parameters
- storage_unit_ID
- (Required) The storage system ID. A storage system ID consists of manufacturer, machine type, and serial number.

Output definitions
- Name
- The name that you assigned for the designated storage system. This value is " - " if you did not assign a name to a storage system.
- Desc
- The description that you assigned for the designated storage system. This value is displayed as a " - " if no description is assigned.
- ID
- Indicates the storage system ID that consists of the manufacture name, machine type, and serial number.
- Model
- The model number of the designated storage system.
- WWNN
- The World Wide Node Name for the listed storage system. This value is " - " if the WWNN is not known.
- Config
- The internal I/O interface configuration for the storage system. One of the following values is displayed:
- Undefined
- The configuration is undefined. The value indicates that either this information is not supported for this storage system model, or a configuration upgrade is in progress that can cause the configuration option to change.
- 2-way, single SFI
- There are two processors and a single storage facility image.
- 4-way, single SFI
- There are four processors and a single storage facility image.
- 8-way, single SFI
- There are eight processors and a single storage facility image.
- Pw State
- The power status of the listed storage system. One of the following values is displayed:
- On
- The storage system power is on.
- Off
- The storage system power is off.
- Turning On
- The storage system power is turning on.
- Turning Off
- The storage system power is turning off.
- Power® Exception
- Storage system power is on, but online operation is not possible due to a power fault in one of the storage system frames.
- Pw Mode
- The power control mode in effect for the listed storage system. One of the following values is displayed:
- Local
- The SMC local/remote switch is set to the local power control mode.
- Remote SMC Manual
- The SMC local/remote switch is set to remote and that the power control mode is set to manual power control.
- Remote SMC Auto
- The SMC local/remote switch is set to remote and that the power control mode is set to auto-power control.
- Remote zSeries Power Control
- The SMC local/remote switch is set to remote and that the power control mode is set to zSeries remote power control.
- Reqpm
- The power control mode to apply when the local/remote switch is set to remote power control
mode. One of the following values is displayed:
- Remote SMC Manual
- Remote SMC Auto
- Remote zSeries Power Control
Note: The default value is remote SMC Manual mode. - System Memory
- The amount in gigabytes (GB) of memory that is configured on the storage system.
- MTS
- The order type of the storage system. The order type varies according to the warranty periods associated with the storage system.
- ER Test Mode
- The state of the Energy Report test mode.
- Disabled
- The Energy Report test mode is disabled.
- Enabled
- The Energy Report test mode is enabled.
- "-"
- The dash ( - ) indicates that the Energy Report test mode is not supported on the system.
- ER Recorded
- The time stamp of the last successful Energy Report readings, in ISO8601 format. The format is
yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ssZ, where
- yyyy = the year
- MM = the month (01-12)
- dd = the day (01-31)
- HH = the hour (00-23)
- mm = the minutes (00-59)
- ss = the seconds (00-59)
- Z = the time zone offset from UTC [-HHmm | +HHmm]

- The Energy Report recording is supported on the system, but the value is not readable.

- The average total power usage, which is measured over a 5-minute period, in watts.

- The Energy Report recording is supported on the system, but the value is not readable.

- ER Inlet Temp
- The average inlet temperature, which is measured over a 5-minute period, in degrees Celsius.
- Unknown
- The Energy Report recording is supported on the system, but the value is not readable.

- The dash ( - ) indicates that the Energy Report recording is not supported on the system.
- ER I/O Usage
- The average I/O usage, which is measured over a 5-minute period, in KIOPS (1000 I/Os/second).
