You can collect usage data on an instance of zRule Execution Server for z/OS. You can also collect usage data when the Rule Execution Server console, the hosted transparent decision service (HTDS), or testing and simulation features are running inside the WebSphere®® Liberty server.
Procedure

To activate the collection of usage data on an instance of zRule Execution Server for z/OS, the variable
++HBRIFAUSAGE++ must be set to YES in the HBRCMMN working
dataset.
An initial value (YES or NO) is assigned to this
variable based on your HBRINST values when you initially configured the product.
- To collect data on Liberty
- Copy ++HBRINSTPATH++/shared/smf/ODMStandard.properties into the ++WLPINSTDIR++/lib/versions
folder.
++WLPINSTDIR++ is the installation directory of the WebSphere Liberty profile.
- Restart your WebSphere Liberty server. You now see a message in the WebSphere Liberty job output similar to the following message:
LAUNCHING <Liberty_Profile_Server_Name> (IBM Operational Decision Manager X.X.X)
