Defining secure connections

If you want to define a secure connection between Db2® Query Monitor and a network peer (such as a Db2® subsystem), Db2 Query Monitor must trust that peer.

Procedure

To define secure connections, you can use one of two methods:

(Preferred method) The certificate provided by the peer is a non-expired certificate signed by a well-known certificate authority (such as Thawte or VeriSign) that is already trusted by the Java™ VM that you are using to run the CAE server.
Import a certificate into the CAE server.
