Canceling the Query Monitor subsystem

If the Query Monitor subsystem cannot be shut down normally, you can cancel the Query Monitor subsystem task using the MVS™ cancel command.

About this task

Important: If possible, you should avoid using the cancel command to stop the Query Monitor subsystem. If you use the cancel the Query Monitor subsystem started task, any data that has been collected during the current interval is lost.

Procedure

You can cancel Query Monitor subsystem in SDSF by entering the cancel command:

C taskname: Cancels the Query Monitor subsystem started task, taskname.
