Specifying Developer Portal URL for reference from external systems

The Load balancer URL field is used to provide the base URL of Developer Portal application.

About this task

The Load balancer URL is used to construct the complete resource path required for various use cases, including:
  • Constructing application URLs to be used in the email notifications sent during application requests, approval events, and so on.
  • Constructing call back URLs for applications using OAuth logins.
So, you must specify an appropriate load balancer URL to enable a seamless experience during the given use cases.

Procedure

  1. Expand the menu options, select Administration, and click General.
  2. In the Load balancer URL field, specify the Developer Portal URL with the corresponding system name or IP address.
  3. Click Save.
    Your configuration is saved.

    The specified URL is provided to external systems for directing from anywhere to the Developer Portal.
