Working with metrics

In the metrics tab, you can do both:

Editing and deleting a metric

To edit or delete a metric, click the More options icon More options and select a relevant button.

Editing a metric is performed in the same way as creating it. For more information, go to Adding a data quality validation rule - a use case.

Configuring the data display

You can configure the data display in terms of:

Displaying range types for returned values

You can display different types of value ranges on the graph (average, median, maximum, minimum), which are based on the returned query results. As a result, you can analyze the trend in terms of selected value ranges and see how the query results compare to them.

  1. Click the More options icon More options > Show trends.
  2. Select one of the available ranges.

Displaying a defined number of returned values

With this feature, you can limit the number of displayed query results. It is especially useful for validations that are performed over a long time frame.

  1. Click the More options icon More options > Show samples.
  2. Select the number of runs.
