Managing integrations

From the Integrations page you can manage integrations, including adding, editing, and deleting your integrations.

Adding integrations

To add a new integration, go to the Integrations page of the Databand UI, then click Add integration and select your integration type. Each integration type requires slightly different details. For more information about adding each integration type, and the list of all available integration types, see Integrations.

Editing integrations

If necessary, you can edit your existing integrations. These changes might include adding additional tables to your Snowflake monitor, changing the projects you want to monitor in Next-Gen DataStage, enabling source code collection for Airflow, or other such edits. You can't always edit all fields of an integration. For more information about what can and can't be edited, see the documentation for the specific integration you are interested in.

You can edit existing integrations in one of two ways:

  • Hover over the integration that you need to change. Then in the Actions column, click Edit.
  • Locate the integration that you want to edit, then click the More options icon More options in the Actions column, and select the appropriate action from the list of options. The options for each integration are as follows:
Table 1. List of integration types and drop-down menu options that are assigned to them
Integration type Dropdown menu options
dbt Edit, Delete
Next-Gen DataStage Edit, Edit list of projects, Delete
BigQuery Edit, Delete
Airflow Edit, Validate integration, Reset Airflow DB ID, Delete
Azure Data Factory Edit, Edit assets, Delete
Snowflake Edit, Delete
Control-M Edit, Edit assets, Delete
Custom integration Edit, Delete

Deleting integrations

To delete an integration, click the More options icon More options in the Actions column, then click Delete and confirm the deletion.

If you don't want an integration to be active but you don't want to permanently delete it, use the toggle next to the Integration name to deactivate the integration.

When you deactivate an integration, it no longer pulls metadata from the associated integration tool, but the integration is not deleted. At any point in the future, you can use the toggle to reactivate the integration and begin tracking again.
