Getting started with IBM Data Observability by Databand
IBM Data Observability by Databand is observability software for data pipelines and warehouses that automatically collects metadata. With Databand, you can monitor your pipelines, runs, and tasks to detect anomalies and triage alerts so you can remediate data quality issues.
To begin using all Databand features, create your first integration and your first alert.
- Databand UI
- View different pages of the user interface through which you can access Databand. This section also includes explanations of how to use Databand features.
- Dashboards and widgets
- View an aggregated display of your environment's pipelines, runs, metrics, and datasets. On this page, you can see real-time information about all your currently tracked assets.
- Pipelines
- View all active and archived pipelines, DAGs, and scripts that Databand observes. By integrating pipelines, you can track pipeline statuses and create alerts to get notified about any important metrics.
- Runs
- View all active and archived runs across all pipelines that Databand observes. On this page, you can see detailed information about each run of your pipelines.
- Alerts
- Create alerts to track and collect metadata. By creating alerts, you can get notified about any issues with your data and identify the root cause of these issues to help you quickly fix them.
- Datasets
- View all datasets that Databand monitors. By tracking datasets, you can see evaluations of your data quality and both daily and historical data operations.
- Live view
- View all active pipelines and runs in your Databand environment. On this page, you can see task-level progress and get insights into any potentially anomalous runs.
- Role-based access control
