Assigning roles
When you invite a new user to your Databand environment, you must specify their role. When you create an invitation, you cannot select a role for the user that is higher in the hierarchy than your own. For example, if you are currently an Admin, you can invite new users with the role of Member or Admin but not Owner.
When a user is added, their role can be changed only by users with the Admin or Owner roles (see the permissions table). To change the role of the user:
- Go to the Settings page from the navigation menu.
- Select the Users tab.
- Select the user whose role you want to update.
- Click the More options icon in the row for the selected user and click Edit user info.
- Select the user's new role from the Access level drop-down list.
- Click Save.
