Enabling UPIA viewpoints
You can select one of five predefined UPIA viewpoints to
change the set of capabilities that you want to use. When you change
the viewpoint, the available tools, including pop-up menu items and
Palette items, are updated to provide the corresponding modeling tools.
You can also enable custom viewpoints that you have defined.
Before you begin
Procedure
- On the toolbar, click the drop-down arrow beside the viewpoint
button (
), select Integrated Architecture Modeling,
and then select a viewpoint from the list. - Optional: To change the available viewpoints that you can use in the Modeling perspective, click the viewpoint button and, in the Preferences window, enable or disable the corresponding check boxes.
