Generating rule files

Use the analysis rule file as input to a command-line analysis run from the enterprise edition or as a Build Forge® project.
The rule file also provides a mechanism for sharing rule files among team members to allow:
  • multiple developers to run the same rule set
  • multiple developers to provide feedback and input to create a common rule set
