Exporting analysis results to XML

Capture analysis results displayed on a result tab and optionally export and save the results to an XML file.

About this task

Analysis results exported to an XML file might be imported to a third-party reporting tool or used as input to an RSS reader.

To export analysis results to an XML file, complete the following steps:

On the Software Analyzer Results tab, select the result tab that contains the analysis results to export to XML.
Click the Export icon.
In the Software Analyzer Data Export dialog, select a report type.
Click Browse to select a destination folder and provide an XML file name, and then click Save.
In the Software Analyzer Data Export dialog, click OK.
