You can identify the rules that
cause errors, warnings, or reminders when you validate a UML model
or diagram.
Before you begin
Model validation errors, warnings,
or reminders must be displayed in the
Problems view
or
Tasks view.
Procedure
- In the Problems view or Tasks view, right-click an error,
warning, or reminder; then click Constraint definition.
- In the Constraint Definition window,
review the constraints, categories, and descriptions.
Tip: You can use the Constraint Definition window
to better understand the UML rules that are applied to your models.
- Optional: If the constraint is not mandatory,
you can disable it and exclude it from the validation process.
