Exporting EMX models and other resources

You can export EMX model files or other resources to another workspace or file location.

Procedure

  1. Click File > Export.
  2. In the Export window, expand General, click File System, and then click Next.
  3. Select the exact resources that you want to export by completing the following steps:
    1. Expand the hierarchies in the left pane and select or clear the check boxes for the folders in the selected directory.
    2. In the right pane, select or clear the check boxes for the individual files to export.
    3. Optional: To filter the current selection for files of a specific type, click Filter Types.
  4. Specify the destination directory for the exported models or resources.
  5. Optional: To overwrite any existing resources without receiving a warning, select the Overwrite existing resources without warning check box.
  6. With the radio buttons at the bottom of the window, specify whether to create a complete directory structure for the exported files or to create only the folders that are selected.
  7. Click Finish.
