Importing EMX models and other resources into your workspace

You can import EMX models or other resource files into your workspace from a different workspace or file location.

Procedure

  1. Click File > Import.
  2. In the Import window, expand General, click File System, and then click Next.
  3. In the Import window, on the File system page, select the source directory for the models or resources to import.
  4. Select the exact resources that you want to import by completing the following steps:
    1. Expand the hierarchies in the left pane and select or clear the check boxes for the folders in the selected directory.
    2. In the right pane, select or clear the check boxes for the individual files to import.
    3. Optional: To filter the current selection for files of a specific type, click Filter Types.
  5. Specify the project or folder in which to save the imported models or resources.
  6. Optional: To overwrite any existing resources without receiving a warning, select the Overwrite existing resources without warning check box.
  7. With the radio buttons at the bottom of the window, specify whether to create a complete directory structure for the exported files or to create only the folders that are selected.
  8. Click Finish.
