Extending DevOps Model Architect function
Using the extensibility features of IBM® DevOps Model Architect,
you can extend the modeling and development functionality of this
workbench-based environment through a combination of application programming
interfaces (APIs), extension points, and utilities.
- Extending the Rational modeling environment
IBM DevOps Model Architect supports several mechanisms that you can use to extend the functionality of the modeling environment. For example, using the available extension points and API, you can create custom profiles to extend the UML metamodel, create pluglets to make minor extensions to the workbench, extend the modeling functionality, or add functionality to an existing transformation. - Extending domain-specific transformations
You can use the transformation extension framework to customize how domain-specific transformations transform model elements or source code elements. You can also specify additional tasks for a transformation complete by extending the extension points of a transformation.
