Creating call choreographies in BPMN diagrams

A call choreography is a reference to a global choreography task or choreography. A call choreography is similar to a call activity in BPMN models. A call choreography is used to reference a global task that can be reused and referenced by other diagrams or elements.

Procedure

  1. On the Palette, click Call Choreography.
  2. In the diagram editor, click to insert the call choreography.
  3. In the window, complete one of the following steps:
    • To add a reference later, click Unspecified Called Choreography.
    • To select an existing global choreography, click Select Existing Global Choreography task or Choreography and browse for the existing global choreography task or choreography.
    • To create a new global choreography, click Create Global Choreography Task.
Tip: You can create a call choreography from the Project Explorer view by dragging a choreography diagram or global choreography task onto the diagram.
