Setting preferences for UML-to-Java transformations

You can specify whether the transformation displays a warning message before replacing source UML model elements with pointers to the generated elements.

Procedure

  1. Click Window > Preferences.
  2. In the Preferences window, click Modeling > Transformations > UML Visualization.
  3. Select the Show warning when replacing UML elements check box.
    Note: If you select this check box, you must also select the Mixed option for the design contract management protocol (DCMP) on the Main page of the transformation configuration editor or wizard.
  4. Click Apply and click OK.

What to do next

The next time that you run the transformation, it displays a warning message before replacing UML elements with pointers to the generated elements.
