Flat List reports

Flat List reports show data in a flat structure (that is, no hierarchy). This report type is ideal for analyzing a large data set.

Flat List reports offer options for a Total row, plus an Other row that provides a summation of values not included in your Top N selection if you want to restrict the number of individual rows displayed.

Selecting columns and metrics
Use the Report Builder to select the breakout and metric columns for the report. You can choose up to three display columns and 10 metrics.
Setting the report frequency and date range
Use the Dates & Data Set tab to set the report frequency and date range.
Setting the row limit
The Number of Rows selection on the Dates & Data Set tab determines the amount of information contained in the report based on the report type.

Use the Dates & Data Set tab to specify the data set to use for the report.
Generating an extended CSV report file
You can generate a downloadable version of your Flat List report that contains up to 1,000,000 rows of data. This feature must be enabled for your Client ID before you can access it.
Filters
A filter consists of one or more criteria added to a Digital Analytics Explore report to narrow the report results. These criteria compare a selected metric with a specified value and include or exclude records depending on the criteria.
Segments
Use the Segment tab to create, copy, or edit a segment for a Digital Analytics Explore report or use an existing segment. You can also rename existing segments and edit it to fit your requirements. Segments are grouped into segment categories for convenience.
Relational Zoom
Relational Zooms allow you to immediately relate one set of data to one or two other sets of data. The screen updates dynamically as each target is selected.
Defining the report name and distribution methods
Use the Name & Distribution tab to set up the name, category, and distribution methods for your report.
