Uninstalling Decision Intelligence Client Managed Software

To remove Decision Intelligence Client Managed Software, delete the namespace that you used to install.

Before you begin

If you need to back up your data, make sure that you take the necessary steps to reinstall the deployment. For example, make a copy of the custom resource (CR) that you used in the environment. Make copies of the security definitions that are used to protect the configuration data in the environment.

About this task

Uninstalling and cleaning up the cluster involves several separate high-level tasks.

  1. Uninstalling the Decision Intelligence deployment.
  2. Uninstalling the operators.
  3. Deleting the secrets created by the Decision Intelligence deployment.

    If you do delete all of the secrets that you created for Decision Intelligence, then you must create them again if you want to install another Decision Intelligence deployment.

  4. Deleting the Decision Intelligence namespace.
  5. Removing the foundational services.

To uninstall the Decision Intelligence deployment, use the following steps.

Procedure

  1. To uninstall Decision Intelligence and its dependencies, run the di_uninstall.sh script: 
    ./scripts/di-uninstall.sh -n ads
    where ads is the namespace where your Decision Intelligence is installed.
    The following items are removed:
    • Decision Intelligence instance (AutomationDecisionService for kind) in the di namespace
    • di namespace
  2. Verify that the namespace is deleted.
