Custom dashboard

The Custom dashboard offers a flexible monitoring interface where you can explore key metrics, visualize trends, and tailor the view to your operational needs.

Accessing the dashboard

You can select the Custom Dashboard from the main menu from under the Monitor section. From the custom dashboard, you can compare monitoring metrics across multiple databases. The custom monitoring dashboard allows you to select metrics of interest from the list, and provides the option to download each graph.

Chart availability and selection

Over 200 charts are available across IBM® Db2® Intelligence Center, with more than 100 curated visualizations.

You can perform the selection of charts from categories such as Database Usage, Monitor Dashboard, Locking Charts and Application Connection. You can also rearrange or resort charts within the dashboard, add or delete charts as needed. After the required selections, click Save to apply those changes.

Filter configuration

You can select up to 10 databases to preserve usability. Filters available include:

Time-based filter: Enables historical view from Monitor settings.
Database filter: Allows selection of up to 10 databases to prevent a cluttered UI.

Auto-refresh settings

Charts auto-refresh based on the monitoring profile’s collection interval. It auto-refreshes every 5 minutes, and you can pause the auto-refresh if needed.

Hovering over graphs displays data point values for different timestamps.
