Notes:
  1. A Top Rack can optionally be installed on any IBM® Diamondback tape library, which adds 5U of configurable rack space. Each optional IBM supplied PDU adds 4.5 kg (10 lbs).
  2. The empty weight of the frame assumes that no tape drives or tape cartridges are installed, and the optional Top Rack is also empty.
  3. The fully loaded weight assumes the maximum number of LTO-9 tape drives (14) and LTO tape cartridges (1548) are installed. The weight of each tape drive is 3.4 kg (7.5 lbs) and the weight of each import/export magazine is 3.6 kg (8 lbs). In addition, the weight of each tape cartridge is 0.2 kg (0.44 lbs).
  4. The optional Top Rack contains up to 5U of configurable rack space. Each U of space can accommodate up to 13.63 kg (30 lbs.) The fully loaded weight with a Top Rack assumes 68.18 kg (150 lbs) of components installed in the Top Rack.
