Inserting tape cartridges

There are several ways to insert tape cartridges in the tape library.

The number of cartridges that you can add to the tape library is equal to the maximum number of available storage slots. This does not include the top row slots. Before inserting data or scratch cartridges, make sure that you have enough available slots in the library. View the number of available storage slots from the System page of the management GUI.
