Creating the Data Gate for watsonx database and tables in Db2 for z/OS

Customize and submit the DSNTIJAS sample job to create the database and tables for Data Gate for watsonx in Db2® for z/OS® before you can synchronize data to Data Gate for watsonx instances.

Before you begin

Important: If you installed IBM® Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS for use with the same Db2 for z/OS system, then this database and the required system tables exist. In this case, skip this task.

About this task

Important: This task must be completed before you create the Data Gate for watsonx stored procedures.

Procedure

  1. Copy and customize the DSNTIJAS sample job member in the <HLQBASE>.<SDSNSAMP> library according to your needs.
  2. Submit DSNTIJAS.
