Installing Data Gate for Confluent

You can run the Data Gate for Confluent Installer program to install the product. Follow the steps in this section.

Contents of the installer package
The self-extracting installer package consists of the installer program and a number of files that allow you to verify the authenticity of the package.
Verifying the installer
Following the steps in this section, you can verify the authenticity and the integrity of the downloaded installer program. This step is strongly recommended. It helps you ensure that you do not install a fake product or a malware program.
Running the installer
After verifying the installer program file, run the installer to install Data Gate for Confluent.
Copying the plugin directory
To finish the product installation, you must copy the plugin directory (including the files) to the Kafka Connect plugin directory.
