You suspect that data does not flow from Db2® for z/OS® to the Confluent Platform.

Symptoms

The Data Gate Debezium connector is running, but Kafka topics on the Confluent side do not show any messages.

Causes

Synchronization failure or missing authorizations

Resolving the problem

  1. Verify that all tables are synchronization-enabled.
  2. Check the snapshot.mode configuration.
  3. Ensure that the log-reader user has sufficient permissions.
  4. Check the Kafka Connect worker logs.
