Testing with IBM IMS Connect
For testing with IBM® Information Management System (IBM IMS Connect), you can set up IBM DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs). With this set up you can record the IBM IMS Connect traffic.
Test Integrations and APIs supports IBM IMS Connect with Information Management System 12-14 by using the Java API included in IBM IMS Enterprise Suite 2.1, 3.1, or 3.2.
You can record and test IBM IMS type 1 and type 2 messages:

Type 1 messages are generated from applications deployed on IBM WebSphere® Application Server (8.0 and later) that are configured with the IBM IMS™ Transaction Manager Resource Adapter (12-14 are supported).

Type 2 messages are generated from user-written applications that use Information Management System Enterprise Suite Connect API (C and Java™, 2.1, 2.2, and 3.1 are supported). An IBM IMS Connect configuration handles IMS protocol communications from a DataPower® service to IMS applications. If you plan to use a DataPower service to connect to an IMS application, you must set the Expect LLLL Response Header option to off. Otherwise, Test Integrations and APIs cannot record the IBM IMS Connect traffic.
