IDocs

The intermediate documents (IDocs) that you can use in your IBM® DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) project depend on the IDocs you selected before synchronizing any logical SAP applications servers in your project.

Every IDoc instance includes a reference to a metadata schema so that data structures can change over time. Typically, only the latest metadata version is used. However, Test Integrations and APIs assigns older metadata versions automatically when required; for example, when recording historic IDoc traffic.
