You can use Installation
Manager to install
IBM® DevOps Test Integrations and APIs Agent (Test Integrations and APIs Agent) from the IBM DevOps Test Virtualization (Test Virtualization) package.
- Review the available licensing modes for the agents. During the installation,
you are required to select the license mode that you are using. You cannot
change the license mode after the installation and selecting the wrong license
mode will cause the agent to not work. For information about the license modes,
see Licenses for DevOps Test Virtualization.
- Review the information in Installation planning for DevOps Test Integrations and APIs Agent, if you are
uninstalling an older version and installing a new version.
Download all the files required for the installation and extract them
to a repository location in the recommended structure. After downloading the core
installation packages, you must create repository locations that point to the
disktag.inf file in each package. If there are multiple
packages, you must create repository locations for each package. If a package
contains multiple disks, create repository locations pointing to each
disktag.inf file or supply the information when prompted
during the installation.
This procedure also contains information related to software upgrades.
Before proceeding with the installation, determine if the upgrade is applicable to
the version that you are installing. You cannot directly upgrade Test Integrations and APIs Agent from any of the
earlier versions to the latest version. You must uninstall the existing version and
then install the latest version.
-
Start an existing instance of Installation
Manager and provide the
location of the installation package as a repository:
- In Installation
Manager, click .

included. To fully understand the package that you are installing, review
all information.
