Requirements for CICS Transaction Gateway

You can find information about the requirements that must be satisfied before you can use the CICS® Transaction Gateway (CTG).

Before you install and set up the CTG, ensure that you download the CTG exits from IBM® DevOps Test Virtualization Control Panel (Test Virtualization Control Panel) and install the correct version of Java™ and a CICS JVMS server.

To virtualize calls through the Transaction Gateway, you must use CTG 9.1.0.1 or later.

For CTG versions earlier than 9.1.0.1, you can virtualize CTG calls through the client-side exit and you must install CA5F SupportPac. For more information, refer to CA5F: IBM CICS TG 'gateway' intercept plug-in support.
