You can import monitors from a Recording Studio history
file. By importing monitors setting from a Recording Studio history
file you can retrieve monitor settings that were generated during
an earlier user session for your Test Integrations and APIs project and import
those monitors into Recording Studio.
The import monitors settings capability is available only
in 8.6.0 or later.
- Open the Recording Studio perspective.
- On the toolbar of the Events Monitors window, click Import
monitors (
). The Import
Monitors wizard is displayed.
- Click Browse. The Open
window is displayed.
- Select the required Recording Studio history file and click
Open. You can either
import from a file or from the Test Virtualization Control Panel.
Select the location of the file from where
to import the monitor. You can use Ctrl or
Shift to select multiple monitors. The specified
location and file name are displayed in the Import
event monitors from field.
- Optional: Select Remove existing monitors to
remove all of the existing event monitors.
- Click Next. The Monitors
to import window displays the monitors to be imported.
- Click Finish.
